Lagging Acceleration 2014 Yamaha FZS SVHO
Hey all. I am from North Georgia. I have a 2014 FZS svho. All stock. I am totally clueless about the ski. If i hold the throttle all the way there is a very prominent lag and the rpm goes upto around 5k and very slowly revs up. the power is not as explosive as it used to be. Top speed is reduced to around 65. I took it to the dealer to get it diagnosed and everything came up good. They couldn't find anything wrong. I checked the impeller clearance and its withing the spec. Engine compression is perfect. Any help will be much appreciated.
Just got beat by a 2005 seadoo rxt.......its not suppose to happen. Thanks a million in advance.

Sounds like your supercharger clutch is gone. Take off the supercharger inlet hose and see if you can turn the supercharger wheel by hand in both directions.

Thanks alot for all the replies. Been hammered with work and classes. I just checked my supercharger wheel and I can turn it one way freely but yue other way is impossible to turn by hand....out of the water engine revs as it should.

I just shot a video. I will post it up. Engine has no unusual noise that can be heard. Revs very fast. Its only on water where it lags in acceleration.
